Ms. Yu Foong Sin is the Principal Consultant of YFS Consulting that specialises in sales solutions for the financial services industry. Her solutions ranges from customised systems to enhance the productivity of the sales force, financial planning systems and also tailor-made training solutions covering a range of topics, including: sales effectiveness; communication; financial planning & wealth management.
She has experience in training Trainers to deliver more effective sessions with improved participant experience being the focus of these sessions.
Her training repertoire has covered a diverse range of skills and knowledge, ranging from the technical and regulatory aspects of effective financial planning, through to the soft skills of effective communication and sales effectiveness.
She also has experience in training on Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) having gained ‘Master Practitioner’ status from the National Federation of Neuro-Linguistic Programming in the USA. Further, she holds accreditation in Neuro-Semantics from the International Society of Neuro-Semantics.
Foong Sin is a Certified CPD Trainer for the Registered Financial Planner (RFP) Modules 1 and 2.
Included in the companies that she has worked with in a training guise in the recent past are: Prudential Assurance Malaysia Berhad; Public Mutual Berhad; Tenaga Nasional Berhad; and W Group of Companies in Malaysia.
Foong Sin is the co-author of the local bestseller’s book “The Secrets of Intelligent Investing” which was first published in Malaysia and Singapore in April 2008.
She is a member of Toastmasters International, an Affiliate Registered Financial Planner (RFP), and is a member of the Malaysian Financial Planning Council (MFPC).
