Hi, there. My name is Yu Foong Sin. Welcome to my first blog site. Creating a blog is one of my goals that I would like to achieve in year 2008. Then I asked myself, why wait when you can do it now?
This blog is specially dedicated for your personal development (PD) journey, which is the reason why I name it as Your Personal Development Archive (Your PDA). Having been introduced to personal development in my first job after I graduated, I strongly believe this is the journey that everyone should embark on to live a meaningful and happy life I will post an article regularly on PD to share with all of you, I will welcome you to join in and give feedback.
Well, since we’re saying bye bye to year 2007 and welcome year 2008, what else will be the best topic to kickstart with apart from goal-settings?
Goal-setting is more that just saying your New Year Resolutions. It is more than mere thought. It is more than wishful thinking. Goal-setting is a process, where after careful thoughts, you decide on what you really want and why it is important to you. The most important consideration when setting goals is TO WRITE IT DOWN, DON’T TRUST YOUR MEMORY. That’s what my favourite author and philosopher, Mr. Jim Rohn said, and how true it is!
